I just stumbled across this blog and am looking forward to the final film. As a father of three boys I can attest... fatherhood is extremely important. I was raised by a single mom and spent sporadic weekends with my dad, know getting to know really him entirely until I was in my early teens. Building a relationship with his now young grandsons unfortunately won't be possible as he took his own life a few years ago. Things like this definitely put life, family, and parenthood into perspective. It's not just the things you do for your children, but often the things you don't do are just as influential.
