One of the great things about making the movie has been hearing so many incredible stories about dads. All dads (which includes stepdads, granddads, and just-like-a-dads) alter the lives of their children – whether it be from supporting and encouraging them as they grow, through their conspicuous and painful absence, or a relationship that falls somewhere in between. And just because the movie’s finished doesn’t mean we want to stop hearing them!

We hope you’ll take a moment to share your experience with us so that we can share it with your fellow Evolved Parents on our “Fatherhood Stories” blog and Facebook page. (Please see below for the terms and conditions of your submission.)

  • Submissions are limited to 4 paragraphs. We reserve the right to edit as needed, or to reject submissions without notification or explanation to the writer. Submissions which use vulgar or offensive language, epithets, slurs, or language that is otherwise hateful or threatening in any way will be automatically rejected. All writers will be identified by first name unless otherwise instructed, so please note if you wish to remain anonymous. Please refer to our “Fatherhood Stories” blog for some examples of how your submission could be presented.
  • Photo Guidelines: Photos must be PNG, GIF or JPEG format. The file size must not exceed 2MB. Images must be at least 120 pixels tall or at least 120 pixels wide. Photos should relate to the content of your story. By submitting a photo, you verify that you are the copyright holder and you grant The Evolution of Dad, LLC the full rights to use the photo in any and all forms and venues without needing further permission. We reserve the right to reject any photo for any reason without notification or explanation to the writer, including in cases where we post said writer's submitted text (but do not post the photo).
