We’ve extended the submission deadline for photos and names for the Honor Roll to Sunday, February 21, 2010 – so there’s still time for the Very Important Dad(s) in your life to be in the film!
As most of you know, we’ve been inviting all of our friends to nominate a Very Important Dad (or 2, or 3…) for inclusion in the “Dads Honor Roll” at the end of the movie. The Honor Roll, for those of you who might not know, is an alphabetical list of the names of fathers who’ve had a positive impact on the lives of the people in our community, whether it be your own dad, stepdad, dad-in-law, husband, son, brother, a friend who has been like a father to you – anyone who you feel deserves special recognition.
It would be our pleasure to help you celebrate these amazing men. Nominations, including their first and last name(s), along with your own, should be sent to info@evolutionofdad.com.
We’ve also been inviting people to send us photographs of dads and kids to be used during the intro to the movie, as well as the Honor Roll and end credits. We’ve got a lot of great ones, but we still need more – so we hope you’ll send us yours!
Pictures should be high-res JPEG’s or GIF’s and should be accompanied by a completed material release form (click here to download). The form can be returned to us in one of 3 ways:
- Scan it and email it with the pic(s).
- Take a digital photo of it and email it with the pic(s). (NOTE: If you choose this option, please make sure that the entire document is completely legible.)
- Fax it to (201) 389-6243.
We’re very partial to photos that are both unique and older – anything before 1975 would qualify as “older”. Black-and-whites are especially compelling, but all submissions are welcome, whether they fall within these suggestions or not.
