The Evolutionary Paternity Test?

A friend recently asked me if I was aware of a NYTimes article from a few years back that discusses how babies are more likely to resemble their fathers and that this is an ‘evolutionary’ way of getting dads more connected with their babies. Pretty wild stuff. If you have an opinion about this, please chime in…

    I heard this theory shortly after the birth of my son and found it plausible and even appealing. But 4 years later, having seen many new arrivals since then, I can't say I've seen any evidence to back it up. And although my son bears a strong resemblance to me, my daughter has looked like her mother from day one!
